We were visiting Dallas on a business trip and wanted to find a great pizza restaurant for dinner and we came across the best pizza in Dallas’ Deep Ellum District at Cane Rosso. Wow, great atmosphere, fabulous authentic Neapolitan style pizza and excellent service.
We had the PAULIE GEE, which had hot soppressata, caramelized onions, calabrian chiles, hand-crushed san marzanos, house-made mozzarella and basil. We also enjoyed the DELIA with spicy bacon marmalade, roasted grape tomatoes, arugula, house-made mozzarella. Both of these choices were fantastic.
It is amazing how fast they cook the pizza. It is fired in their specially built wood fired oven from Italy that reaches 900 degrees and cooks the pizzas in under 90 seconds. The result is a wonderful pizza that has a slightly charred dough. If your visiting downtown Dallas, definitely add this to your list of places to visit if you love Pizza.
