Delightful Chef Driven Restaurant in Green Bay, WI
If you are visiting Green Bay WI in the near future, you MUST try Bleu! This beautiful interior designed, chef driven restaurant serves up some amazing food and the environment is very friendly and welcoming.
It is a trendy restaurant located in the old Reedsville Granary Office Building that was disassembled piece by piece then reassembled on the Olde School Square site. This makes the restaurant located on the first floor that much more appealing. The interior design showcases Old Doors puzzled together on the ceiling and were found by driving around the state of Wisconsin “picking” from old random farm houses. The beautiful colors, open design kitchen and fantastic menu make this a MUST visit restaurant.
We started out with the Cheese & Charcuterie: Local & Imported Cheeses, Meats & Chef’s Choice Accoutrements which the presentation served on a rustic board approx. 2 ½ feet long and was an excellent choice if you like cheese and meats. We also had the Roasted Root Vegetable Salad: with Arugula, Goat Cheese & Citrus Vinaigrette.
Our main courses were Atlantic Diver Scallops: Sweet Corn Relish & Truffle Cream which was fantastic and a small plate of bacon wrapped scallops with goat cheese and a sautéed summer squash salad. We loved this place so much, we visited a second time just two days later. The menu changes daily. On this visit we tried the outstanding crab cake, Creole shrimp, a crispy salmon and the Lobster Cobb Salad. For dessert, our all time favorite, Bananas Foster.
